We know it’s been a very long time coming (for a good reason - we’ve been working heavily on the next major iteration of Goplan), but it’s finally here. We just pushed theme support to the live servers, which means that if you head on to your account preferences now, you’ll be able to choose new themes!

There’s only one new theme right now, the long-announced Dark theme in addition to the default green, but there’s a few more themes on the way. We’re also considering the possibility of allowing more customization, so keep an eye out. Enjoy - and again, sorry about the long wait!
It’s been a while since Goplan has seen major updates, but don’t think we’ve been sitting on our hands and sipping piña colada.
Since the survey we sent out last September, we’ve implemented some quick simple things and solved some of the most common problems, but that wasn’t everything we did. We’ve thought long and hard about some of the changes you guys asked for and about the quality of current product. We don’t like to simply make things, we want to make things right. Now that ideas have matured and we have a pretty good idea of where we need to go, it’s time to get to work.
You can see the updated product roadmap (which we like to keep public, as we’ve said before) and have a glimpse of what’s coming. Our main priority will be refactoring the current code for speed and ease and then tackle the new features, prioritizing some of the things most of you asked for (company scoped projects, time tracking, etc).
Our goal is to improve your experience, so as always, let us know what you think through our feedback email, the forums or comments to this post. Keep an eye out, updates are coming really soon.
As most of you have noticed Goplan, as well as other applications hosted in Engine Yard, are having connectivity problems.
They are already working on the issue and it should be all solved in a couple of minutes.
EDIT: We are up again. Sorry for the inconvenience.
As some of you may have noticed, late last night Goplan was having trouble with the file hosting functionality. This was due to a routing issue in the Verizon network and due to that Goplan was unable to access Amazon S3.
The issues are now solved and everything appears to be working correctly now. You can resume uploading and downloading your files.
