As most of you have noticed Goplan, as well as other applications hosted in Engine Yard, are having connectivity problems.
They are already working on the issue and it should be all solved in a couple of minutes.
EDIT: We are up again. Sorry for the inconvenience.
As some of you may have noticed, late last night Goplan was having trouble with the file hosting functionality. This was due to a routing issue in the Verizon network and due to that Goplan was unable to access Amazon S3.
The issues are now solved and everything appears to be working correctly now. You can resume uploading and downloading your files.
In the survey we held recently a large number of our users requested better email notifications.
Although we still use and recommend the RSS timeline, there is now an equivalent email setting.
If you go to your account preferences and select “Real time” you’ll receive all the events that are added to the timeline in your email account.
Early morning, and we come bearing good news: we just tripled the storage limits on all plans, meaning you can now share triple the amount of project files with your co-workers or friends. The unlimited plan got upgraded to a hefty 25GB for those heavy lifting projects, and the others got similarly pumped values. Have a look at the list below for the new storage:
- Free: 15MB
- Personal: 300MB
- Startup: 1.5GB
- Professional: 6GB
- Unlimited: 25GB
This is bound to be good news for those of you who were maxing out space with big files. Enjoy! There’s a few more updates coming very soon (including some features we hinted on a while ago).
